Our goal is to support initiatives that enhance and grow the musculoskeletal research community. We strive to accomplish this through varied outreach activities representing the MRC to institutional leaders, the WashU research community, and to Affiliate members and others. Our extensive Enrichment Program is a major mechanism for outreach. We sponsor weekly research and educational seminars (available in-person and via ZOOM), annual symposia, a pilot grant program, and social events.
Another way we do this is by engaging students in the St. Louis region. We are excited to introduce students to musculoskeletal research, including those from groups underrepresented in medicine or STEM.
